Information used
Bhelte stores account details, school and level information, learning attempts, connections, messages, posts, course subscriptions and payment references required to operate the service.
Why it is used
Information supports authentication, learning recommendations, progress tracking, content access, platform safety, fraud prevention and customer support.
Student controls
Students can keep accounts private, control mutual-connection messaging, block accounts and request account deletion. Teachers cannot access student private messages.
Payments and files
Payment-card details are handled by the configured payment provider and are not stored by Bhelte. Uploaded files are stored using randomised names and restricted file types.
Retention and deletion
Define formal retention periods before launch. Deleted accounts should be anonymised or removed unless information must be retained for legal, payment or safety reasons.
